September 2nd, 2014 Catherine M. Parente Named Partner of Sansiveri Sansiveri is pleased to announce that Catherine M. Parente, CPA/ABV/CFF, CVA, CFE, MAFF, has been named a partner of the firm. Catherine has over 36 years of public accounting experience, providing advisory and auditing services to clients in industries including manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, construction, and retail. She has been qualified as an expert witness numerous times and has been deposed in both federal and state courts throughout the country. She has been appointed by several courts as a Special Master and mediator. Catherine also performs valuation work for both litigation and non-litigation purposes. She was previously a partner at Grant Thornton LLP and CCR LLP. “Since joining the firm last year, Catherine has impressed everyone here with her knowledge, work ethic and leadership abilities,” said Michael A. DeCataldo, Managing Partner of Sansiveri. “She is an excellent role model for all of the professionals at the firm and we’re glad to have her as part of the Sansiveri family.” Catherine’s licenses and certifications include: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF), and Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF). At Sansiveri, Catherine is a key contributor in our forensic and valuation service practice, as well as in our audit and accounting, and business advisory service groups. She also serves on the executive committee of SKNOW (Navigating Opportunities for Women), Sansiveri and SK Wealth Management, L.L.C. women’s initiative. She is a member of the board of directors of Crossroads RI and a member of the Bryant University Accounting Advisory Board. Catherine’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, summa cum laude, from Bryant University. She has also done post graduate study at Bryant University and the University of Rhode Island.
