Outsourced Sr. Client Accounting & Controller Services Manager 

This position will provide a combination of both outsourced controller and monthly accounting services to a variety of clients from different industries. This is a hybrid position is for our New Bedford, MA location.

Sansiveri, Kimball & Co., LLP, a leading regional public accounting, and business
consulting firm is seeking a qualified individual for the following opening in
our Client Accounting & Advisory Services (CAS) Group. Hybrid and flexible work
schedules available for this position working from their New Bedford, MA office.

Key Responsibilities:

Controller Services:

  • Oversee account management and maintain accuracy of financial
    records
  • Oversee, produce, and present financial statements and results
  • Develop and maintain insightful analytical reports
  • Drive the implementation of best practices and efficiencies
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with client personnel
  • Work on Monthend and yearend close
  • Budget to actual and other analyses

Monthly Accounting Services:

  • Post transactions to the general ledger system
  • Work on monthly bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile thirdparty service provider reports to the general ledger
  • Process cash disbursements including payments for approved
    invoices
  • Oversee accounts receivable including issuing invoices and applying cash
    receipts
  • Process payroll utilizing client’s thirdparty processor

Team Oriented:

  • Maintain strong communication with others with the CAS Team
  • Support other members of the CAS Team and Sansiveri
  • Perform various other duties to support the continued growth and success
    of the CAS Team

Clientele include:

  • Small to medium businesses
  • Industries include construction, manufacturing, notforprofit, professional
    services, and retail

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in performing CAS related work OR 4
    5 years of public / industry accounting experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a timely fashion
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to learn and utilize various software, as necessary

Preferred:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

  • Client Lead Program – Sansiveri will pay a bonus to employees for expected recurring services, which have resulted from a newly cultivated referral source. Under this program, an employee will receive 10% of amounts billed and collected for the first year services and 5% for the second year services where they have provided a lead for acquiring a new client for the firm.
