Tax Staff

So what does a Tax Staff at Sansiveri do?
As a Tax Department member, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and corporate entities including S and C corporations, partnerships, and trusts. You will assist with tax compliance and advisory work for a diverse client base. You will work closely with Tax Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, and Partners to ensure that clients’ tax needs are met with the highest level of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals,
businesses, and entities (S and C corporations, partnerships, LLCs, etc.). - Research tax issues and interpret tax laws and regulations to determine optimal client
solutions. - Collaborate with Tax Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, and Partners on the preparation of
reports, presentations, and other tax–related documents. - Participate in firm–wide initiatives such as internal process improvement and training
programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting. Possession of an MST degree (or in progress) is
preferred but not required. - Prior tax internship experience preparing tax returns or 1+ years of tax experience at a
public accounting firm is preferred. - Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Consistent desire to professionally improve and to be promoted based on the delivery of
excellent work product. - Preference will be given to those graduates meeting the 150–credit hour requirement for
CPA eligibility.
